Your Summer Reading 📖

·

Are you one of those who find reading to be a holiday highlight? In that case, you are in great company! However, it can be a challenge to find the right fit in the jungle of best-seller lists and crowded bookshops. Therefore, we have gathered a small list of our old favorites as well as newcomers we are excited to read. We hope you can find your next exciting read to savor in the shades, on the beach, or curled up in your PJs while the rain pours down.

OUR FAVORITES

  • A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara
If you have not already joined the fan-club of this book, you should get a copy ASAP, turn off your phone and enter this emotional roller coaster. PS. Don’t be intimidated of its thickness or weight, once involved in the lives of these New York friends, you will find the end to come far to soon.
  • Normal People and Conversations with Friends, both by Sally Rooney
Two equally compelling novels, where you experience a constant inner-debate about whether you love or hate the characters.
  • Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams
The perfect summer read! A capturing novel, full of wit and charm.

ON OUR READING LIST

  • Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.
It topped New York Times Bestseller list both 2019 and 2020 and was selected by Reese Witherspoon's book-club. Need we say more?
  •  Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng.
A bestseller which is now also a mini-series produced by and starring Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington. It is predicted to be a blockbuster, so if you want to avoid spoilers you should hurry up and read it!
  • Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates
A praised non-fiction book, written as a letter to the author's son. A moving and educational story about what it means to be a black person in today's America.
